Democratic women in GA seek a state ban on vasectomies.

This is an actual bill they are proposing to point out the wrongness of the constant stream of abortion restrictions and bans being proposed. Mostly it highlights the hypocrisy of forcing restrictions on women “for the babeez” but not doing the same thing to men.

Rep Neal is an awesome, awesome advocate for repro justice in Georgia. She actually sits on the JUDYNC committee in which the 20 week ban (HB 954) now sits. She has been outspoken about what she views as hypocrisy and unfairness in the bill and has been very receptive to myself and ‘colleagues’ during all of this. The co-sponser, Minority Leader Abrams is another amazing, dynamic woman who is more than confident in what she is doing and will certainly be a national leader one day. I’m going to the hearing for this satire-bill today and I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens.
